Inventor of AirCool Plus chucks for wafer testing operations in the range of -65-deg C to +400-deg C. ERS provides hot/cold chuck systems for rapid and precise thermal wafer characterization in fully-automatic, semi-automatic and manual probers as well as equipment for parametric wafer testing.

Available systems for serial production range up to 300 mm. The ERS AirCool Plus thermal system achieves cold temperatures on its chuck with chilled air - no liquids or Peltier elements are required. Air-cooling means outstanding MTBF and low cost-of-ownership. Extremely low noise values (in fA range) combined with high rigidity and quick ramp time provide superior value.
